Update on Mom-Blog! : Mom-Blog: Parenting, life, growth, and sanity

Hi everyone, exciting things are happening here on Mom-Blog, and I wanted to share them with you.

First of all, since I wrote that post on my ?leap of faith?, all KINDS of fantastic things have been happening. ?I?m working on a big partnership with a team I met at BlogHer last year, diving deeper into search engine optimization with a new client, and starting working on my devotional for special needs moms.

Secondly, I?m working very hard constructing the redesign for this site. ?Mom-Blog will be going from boring, ?all about me? blog to a community focusing on the care of moms who have kids with special needs. ?But never fear! ?Moms of typical kids are welcome here too. ?The changes will involve me sectioning the blog into areas where you can:

• find tips on growth, spirituality, self-improvement, fashion/beauty, and more,
• add extra income, take steps to getting back into the workplace, or work that hobby into a business,
• change the world for the better by taking action on or helping out causes that affect kids,
• brag, post images, and share in general about how that special kid in your life is making strides,
• deals that are specifically curated with my audience in mind (fashion, whole foods, gluten free products, toys, etc.),
• and a forum for moms to hang out and take a break.

Finally, I?ll be looking for people to help me craft all this content, but I?m not quite up to that yet. ?In the meantime, I?m working as promised to share my take on controversial topics that affect women and moms.
